Women in Jazz South Florida, Inc. is a non-profit organization that works with and promotes female jazz musicians and composers to gain recognition and have their music heard globally. This series of poster's main goal is bring awareness the organization and female jazz musicians.
Design is Change [DECHA] is a multidisciplinary undergraduate research service-learning course of integrated graphic design, technology and fine arts at Florida International University. This course teaches undergraduate students, who team up with a non-profit organization, to research, create, design, and implement conceptual posters that make a positive social impact in our global community.
DECHA mixed research methods, is intended to encompass multiple disciplines including design, fine arts, politics, sociology, psychology, language, and technology. The ultimate goal is to teach students to become citizen designers who are aware of the social issues affecting our global community, facilitating partnerships, transformations and donations.
